“Not anymore odd than Gracin.” I smiled back and was trying not to evaporate at the heat he had created just by saying my name. “Well they’re comfortable and at least I’m not freezing my ass off, why are you over so late, Beth?”
She looked away for a moment. That’s the best description I could give you. Then he looked around and pulled a piece of paper from his pocket. It started bouncing as if it were laughing.
