“Oh nothing like that.” I said reassuringly, “He was born blind, he doesn’t have any eyes at all.”
She looked at me puzzled. She poked my groceries and asked. “Yeah…you do too don’t you? Yeah, I guess it can be a little embarrassing though.” And she laughed again. “So what’s his name?”
“Pardon?” I stammered before my mind kicked back into gear. “No…just me…and, well my dog I guess.”
